I am 16 years, 2 months, 1 week, 4 days, 4 hours and 2 minutes old as of typing this sentence.

Addtional fact: I'm also pretty darn bored.

Im one of the old guard it seems. 30+. And back in my day, we didnt have your fancy Motion controlled games, we had a glove on a wire in one hand and a gun that could be tricked by a lightbulb in the other. We had to wade through general department stores to get our games and the idea of a game store was impossible, And to get to a place where we could get games we had to walk uphill in the snow, both ways, backwards!. You lazy kids with your save this game anywhere.. Why back in my day we had to run the risk of getting backhanded if our parents told us to do something and we couldnt just drop the game. Why back in my day you had to plan your play sessions carefully in order to make sure there would be nothing that would interrupt your session and basically cause you to loose everything you had done.

God, you people are making me feel old.

I still remember how long it took me to finally flip the score in Asteroids on the Atari.
God I am old.....38
I remember spending many hours programming a game in from a book of games (remember them). Only to have my grandma turn the computer off before I could save it to tape. I only had two goes on it to check it was working properly. Gamers today don't know how easy they have it.....

Ive observed a sizable decrease in average apparent age over the past two years. Most folks seemed to be well into their twenties back then, before we had to start advice forums and before we split religious and political discussion off everything else for the endless ridiculousness.

18, it also appears that I'm within the vast majority though its probably important to note this survey is more of vague representation of the age boundaries of frequent internet forum users more so than people who game.

Well. Seems I and 6 other people are between 36 and 40. "You young people today! With your hip-hop and your bling!"

And this statement would get you my vote in a presidential election.
