What does everyone think of Ba'al? Who else thinks he's the greatest villain of all time? It's hard to describe his awesomeness in words so, if you don't know who Ba'al is, you are in desperate need of some Stargate.

Also, what do you think of Cliff Simon (the actor that plays Ba'al)?

He was an ok villain, I hated the character after a while just because he kept coming back for one stupid reason or another, and because of him that stupid back in time movie was created.

I hate to say it but ba'al comes closer to winning. Also he was such an arrogant self important jerk that you HAD to love him.

I liked Aphoifs way better but yeah he was fine, I didn't really feel he was that evil, I mean didn't he call a truce with Earth for a while?

What's great about him is that he's an arrogant self centered jerk, not a god. All the other system lords are very serious about how godly they are (Yu being the exception since he isn't actually a god) whereas Ba'al just doesn't really care. He's the only one that doesn't have the god complex. He's just an arrogant prick.

Yea, Apophis was truly evil. Ba'al just wants more power. And yes, he did make a truce with the Tau'ri (humans) to defeat Anubis.

Its perfectly obvious that he never believes himself to be a god. He just thinks hes an amazing genius. Which he actually is. He is the most realistic of the Goa'uld

He was an arrogant, childish, power hungry for the sake of it, casual jerk. He's just like I'd be were I a villian. What's not to like?

Yea, he is a genius. He's cunning, witty, charismatic, and humorous. He deserves the praise he gives himself.

Same. I'd be just like him if I were an actual supervillain.

He was the the best of a bad lot but like Stargate his death was a slow and painful one, both should have die a lot earlier like season 5/6.
