Tell me what you think of them and why, thanx.

Edit: If you voted "I try to get them" or "They are my life" tell me why, as i fall into the "Waste of Brainpower and life" catagory.
Is it to level up your internet (for lack of a better word, excuse me) cock?

there isn't really any option of the poll that describes how i feel about them. They aren't there to try to obtain, i.e. they aren't achievements to actively try and get. They are there to show a significant milestone in your forum browsing career (if you can call it that, I cant think of anything else).

Sure it's cool when the Badge Fairy pays my account a visit overnight but I definitely don't actively TRY for them.

I don't really like them, because 1) I don't care and 2) when it says I have a new message I always hope it's because I got quoted (or an actual message) and I get disappointed when it's something else.

But I don't think they're foolish, as I can see why other people might like them.

If theres a quiz that awards a badge, I'll do it, though I like quizzes, so...

I don't generally go out of my way to get badges, but they're a nice touch, they allow for people to easily display aspects of their contribution to the community, I like them for that.

Well it's one of the reasons why I like this site since as far as I know, it's the only site I know that does it (I don't exactly check out many other sites).
It just shows what stuff you took part in and some what like a ingame (well website) objects to get in a online game (but not obsessive).

I like those that come from personality quiz. Right now, I'm trying to get the Epic poster badge with morpheus on it.
