Poll: Battle for the basement

So a friend and I got into a disagreement. We are trying to figure out who is a worse director

Uwe Boll

Or

John Waters?

Who has made worse movies.

So would appreciate some feedback on reasons why. (although being on a game centric forum, I expect Boll to get little or no love)

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I haven't seen any of John Waters' movies. If you could tell me some of them it would be nice...

I remeber reading uwe boll wrote that god awful doom movie if that was him I hereby declare him to be the worst director.

I vaguely recall John being on the Graham Norton show in the UK back when it was on channel 4 and from what I remember, he was a bit of a flamboyant chap who introduced everyone to the apparent "art of teabagging" or something along those lines. I've heard his voice being used in a few things and the odd acting cameo but that's about it.

But this guy really pales in comparison to what the travesty and embaressment that Uwe is.

While i know who both are..i've never seen any of Mr. Waters movies that i can recall so i can't formulate an unbiased opinion.

However i can say a few things about Uwe Boll and his movies..mainly his video-game adaptations..and that they are shite. But being the crafty ************ he is, he exploits a loophole in the German tax code which allows those who invested in his movies to still make some money even when the inevitably bomb.

John Waters may be giving us mediocre movies, but Uwe Boll is giving us the cream of the crap.

Sorry.. Just kind of assumed people would know who both are.

I think if your a gamer of most persuasions, you have to know who Boll is cause... in all likelyhood hes trashed a film adaptation of a game you've at least played. (OT: Rampage is actually a very good film but i think Boll only produced that) ((examples: Bloodrayne, Alone in the dark, Postal)

John Waters gained most of his mainstream success from the film Hairspray in 1988 featuring Rickki Lake. And Pink flamingos. Just as the first example I could pull up from youtube
