Who of you is getting Bayonetta purely for it's faptastic potential?
Well, I am. And I'm totally unashamed of it. It has awesomely hot chicks with killer hips. Yum.

And, as a completely unexpected and unnecessary bonus, it's supposed to be a pretty good game too. I played all for DMC games to death so in terms of gameplay, this is right up my ally.

But seriously, who else is unashamed to say they're getting this for the scantly clad chicks and killer hips?

I'm playing for the gameplay. I can see scantily clad chicks anywhere on the internet. But I've always been a fan of the "smart hack n slash" that is the DMCry series. And this cranks the over-the-top moves dial to 11. I love the crazy acrobatics, too.

I actually don't really enjoy porn, but the objectification of women in my video games is awesomeness.

And Bayonetta ain't porn, I doubt there's any actually nudity, it's just strongly suggested that the millisecond of bare flesh you just witnessed was in fact a nipple, or pube.

It's Devil may Cry with Danta/Nero replaced with a hot chick with guns on her shoes and demon hair. Why don't you see the logic here? This is made of pure faptastic win.

Also, you don't control porn on the interbutts. But Bayonetta is under your full control.

I watched my boyfriend play the demo, the game does look good and if I had the money to buy it, I would but there'd always be a little anger bubble inside me whilst playing it.

I watched my boyfriend play the demo, the game does look good and if I had the money to buy it, I would but there'd always be a little anger bubble inside me whilst playing it.

I find this slightly confusing, bare in mind I'm male, so confusion is usually my natural state of being. What is degrading women here? The fact that she's really powerful and can kick more butt than most of the male protagonists in games? Or that she does so while flaunting her many many wonderful assets?

I find that very empowering to women. God knows I'd let her pull a torture move on me any day. *da dum tish*

The gameplay seems fine, but the oversexualized... eh... everything is too over-the-top, too cheesy and looked like visioned by a 13 years old who had never seen porn, yet fantazises about getting to sneak his big brother magazines (which describes someone I haven't met since the creation of google and Internet).

Seriously, when one of the special moves is her doing the missionary and screaming "come and get some", you have to wonder if there isn't something a little off...

That's kinda the point. I'll spend my first play through oogling at the hot chicks and giggling at the sexual innuendos. After that I'll spend ages learning all the different combos and moves and getting all the trophies and studying the story.

If you can't see past the sexuality of it all, then you're missing out on something that otherwise looks very entertaining.

I specifically want to look at scantly clad women kicking ass with demon hair and high heel guns. I'm tired of space marines and dragon slayers from fantasy land. I haven't indulged my inner adolescent in way too long.

Haha. The fact she is wearing very little, and the better she does, the less clothes she wears.
It's the same problem I have with models and page 3 girls, I just don't think women should use their bodies like that. That's why some men objectify us, it's not really a fair portrayal. We need a female version of Gordon freeman, doesn't look much but really is.
Just my opinion, I don't like how male protagonists are muscular, strong and sexy too ;_;
