If a game involves a femme fatale with a cool, sexy look and a badass personality, I really don't mind it so much. If she has stripper titties with otherworldly physics, that's another story altogether. This obsession with polygonal curves is rather amusing to me but then again, I've never understood hentai and eroge in the first place. Call me crazy, but I find actual women to be far more attractive than bump-mapped hermaphroditic elf girls.

I watched my boyfriend play the demo, the game does look good and if I had the money to buy it, I would but there'd always be a little anger bubble inside me whilst playing it.

I find this slightly confusing, bare in mind I'm male, so confusion is usually my natural state of being. What is degrading women here? The fact that she's really powerful and can kick more butt than most of the male protagonists in games? Or that she does so while flaunting her many many wonderful assets?

I find that very empowering to women. God knows I'd let her pull a torture move on me any day. *da dum tish*

Haha. The fact she is wearing very little, and the better she does, the less clothes she wears.
It's the same problem I have with models and page 3 girls, I just don't think women should use their bodies like that. That's why some men objectify us, it's not really a fair portrayal. We need a female version of Gordon freeman, doesn't look much but really is.
Just my opinion, I don't like how male protagonists are muscular, strong and sexy too ;_;

Fair enough. Being male and connoisseur of plump pixelated posteriors, I guess I am fairly biased.

But a female Gordon Freeman? Not gonna happen! I've yet to meet a female who can keep her mouth shut for than 2 minutes, definitely can't see one keeping quiet while slaying hundreds of combine and headcrabs.

I do think Bayonetta is really hot.
I don't like porn because it's degrading to women (except where they obviously are dominating men, but lets leave that for another discussion).
I think real women are hot, and some of the Bayonetta cosplay I've seen is even hotter than Mizz BayoNetta herself.

My main appeal about the game is my ability to control her! Not just her completely sexy, hot, smoking fine body that makes me want to.... um... as i was saying. The fact that I'm handing out platters full of punishment as a sexy demon-witch is a very satisfying form of escapism. Dunno what that says about my mental state though

Also, I don't actually watch anime, so my exposure to pixelated women are confined to video games and Pixar movies. And the only other pixelated female I've ever fawned over was Mai Shiranui.
