Lol, I live with my girlfriend. And sex is never in short supply. Porn feels really crap in comparison. Also, I don't enjoy see women misused like that. unless it's artsy and thought provoking.

It's not pornographic. Over sexualized for sure. But there is no sex scenes showing penetration of any sexual organs.

Pornographic doesn't have to mean penetration or showing of organs, it just means sexual content aimed at causing sexual excitement. And in that regard, I'd consider Bayonetta containing pornographic elements.

That's very nit-picky. By that logic every show with a hot chick has pornographic elements.

It's not nit-picky, it's just the definition of pornographic content.

Mr Wikipedia says: "Pornography or porn is the depiction of explicit sexual subject matter for the purposes of sexual excitement."

Bayonetta was not made EXPLICITLY to provoke sexual excitement. It's primarily a hack-and-slash-and-shoot-and-beat-em-up video game NOT eroge or hentai. Any sexual provocation is a by product of the character and story line. Admittedly, the character is very sexy and the story/gameplay is full of sexual innuedo. But it's still not porn.

The gameplay isn't worth it, trust me. This game is so unimaginably bad. The horrendousness of the dialouge sets a new standard for videogames. It honestly makes Resi4 look like frickin' Shakespeare.

This game is without a doubt my biggest disappointment of 2010.

Reminds me way too much of God of War/Sacred/Diablo game play... Just mash buttons non stop, gets old quickly for me.

The torture finishing moves seemed kind of cool, the spinning wheel thing especially... But otherwise, I don't see this game as anything aside from some laugh material.

It's nothing like the games you described. Play Devil May Cry for a perfect example of what you can expect from Bayonetta. It's extremely franatic and it has boobs. The games you described do to feature these.

I don't care about the dialogue one little bit. At all. I don't care about the story, the characters motivations, or that the protagonist looses clothes as she fights. The gameplay is incredibly satisfying, and it makes up for everything else.

No offense, but it sounds exactly like the examples I provided. Kill lots of generic minions in often over-the-top ways by mashing buttons, repeat until boss.

Oh, well that's exactly what Bayonetta is. And I guess it's not your cup of tea. I enjoy it though. It's exactly the kind of game I can play to unwind after torturing myself with a Demon Souls marathon. Plus, it's got boobs.

No I don't find her hot, because I personally find it impossible to be sexually attracted to a fictional game character. Or any animated character for that matter.

As for the game itself, I haven't even played it so I can't give my opinion on it. Then again I did download the demo for it a few months ago and I still haven't tried it.

The game came out here the day after New Year and I was pretty psyched to play it.

The fighting is pretty cool when it's not throwing cheap shots at you the micro-second a cutscene ends, wich it does almost everytime. The dialoge is either extemely badly translated or extremely badly written, but I could follow any of it. And the fighting, although cool, is so insanely over the top that there's no real impact to it.

I loved the demo and it's by the same guys who made Okami so I was kinda looking forward to this game, but it has let me down beyond believe. And I couldn't imagine another game in 2010 disappointing me more than Bayonetta.
