It was pretty average to me, I far preferred Audiosurf as far as music games go.

its cool to see how asteroidy various songs are and how screwed you are when playing heffalumps and woozles.

I agree. I played beat hazard for a bit and then just.. meh. Audiosurf is way better.

The game is VERY repetitive, music or not - and it really doesn't read your music as well as I imagined it doing. Also the enemy variation is pitiful.

PC version > 360 version. It takes my 360 far too long to scan through 150 GB of music. On the PC it's instantaneous.

Also, if you're not using Pendulum to play Beat Hazard, you're doing it wrong. :D My current total score in Beat Hazard is around 200 million, so yeah, I play it a fair bit and highly recommend it.

Its a solid game, especially if you like heavy music. Prog can be... interesting...

I was really underwhelmed by the demo. It seemed kind of bland and lacking in depth, but that's just my opinion. I'm another one in the "Audiosurf is much more fun" camp.

It's a lot of fun for about 3-5 hours, though having to pay extra for iTunes support (I swear, sometimes I feel shafted for legally obtaining my music) is quite annoying.

If you have a gamepad with two analog sticks, get it. Otherwise, get Audiosurf.

I was thoroughly unimpressed. Buy it if it's a dollar, other than that, don't bother.

I knew this thread would be flooded with "Audiosurf is better"... Eh. I love Beat Hazard, and it's definitely worth the price on either PC or 360. (I'm thinking 360 is cheaper though... not quite sure. PC might have online, which is something the 360 version lacks... I don't really know these things)

AudioSurf is worth the price as well, and a good game at that. I just like Beat Hazard more.
