A few days ago, this thought came to me as I was putting my belt on. which way is the usual way to wear a belt, and which way do you wear your belt, if you do wear one?

I usually wear mine clockwise, due to myself finding it easier.

I just put it on however, really. I don't pay much attention to it!

EDIT: Actually..thinking about it I put mine on anti-clockwise - I always pull it tight with my left hand. Shame I can't change my poll vote. Damn!

Which way counts as clockwise, is the buckle the start or the end of the belt? I would say its the start but some people might not agree which could make the answers confusing.

I don't really wear belt very often but when i do I put it on with the buckle to the left, which I would say is counter-clockwise.

From the buckle. It seems like a great starting point.

I never even thought about that. Everyone I've ever seen has always done it anti-clockwise, including myself. I mean, the Volcom logo goes upside down and looks funny if you do it the other way :)

Does it matter? It depends on where I start. Usually I'm too tired in the morning to care/notice what side I start on.

Awake? I don't really care when I'm aware of it either.

Clockwise.

...I think.

Have to say, the escapist's polls are probably one of the best sources for useless information anywhere on the planet by now.

I believe anti-clockwise is the "proper" way of doing it. So do whatever you want.

I'm used to ROTC where we wore 'em counter-clockwise, but that's when I wear a belt. Only half my jeans are big enough to need one.
