Poll: Best Fallout Game

I love Fallout 3, and I'm playing Fallout 1 and enjoying it a lot. I was just wondering what the fine posters over here at the Escapist thought was the best Fallout game of all time.

I've played Fallout 2 & 3, and I liked F2 becuase it seemed more RPG to me, and I very much like RPGs.

People thought that Fallout 3 would be too much like Oblivion, and not like the Fallout series enough.
Now, Fallout 3 has the most votes, and probably will continue to do so.

I voted Fallout 3, since I played Fallout 1 recently, but I always prefer newer games, since they generally involve better scripted events, are longer etc.

I play Fallout 2 more, but I voted for the first one because it just seems like a generally better game.

I've only played fallout 2 and 3 and I enjoyed 3 more, maybe it was the first person veiw, I dunno I just spent way more time on fallout 3.

While I love the first two games, Fallout 3 just does something special for me. I've never played Tactics, though I actually have it as it comes with the Fallout collection.

I hated Oblivion, but I loved Fallout 3. It just makes me doubt that Fallout 3 is "Oblivion with guns." But hey, to each his own.

hey agreed. They are two completely different games in my opinion. But i was just making a suggestion.

Maybe I'll give it another go. It's just that the main story in Oblivion kind of sucked in my opinion, while all of the guild quests were sweet. I just got tired of trudging through what I thought was one of the worst main stories in a game I had ever played, although that may have to do with the fact that I only buy really good games because I am poor, and I need to make the money worth it. Still, I'll try it again, just because I loved the side quests.
