Can't really say, since I pretty much avoid fast food and burgers now.

Though I'd have to say, for old times sake, a local joint in my home town called Kewpee. Amazingly different taste than all the other mainstream crap, and the bun glistens with fresh grease every time.
Mmmm-mmm.

I am so in love with Wendy's that I continually went there every day for over a month and ordered the #3- Classic Triple large combo.

It got to the point where I would walk in and the people at the register would yell "Hey Wendy's Man!" in a Cheers-esque "Norm!" celebration.

It's that good.
I totally agree. Wendy's burgers satisfy a deep longing in every man's heart: the longing for an amazing burger.

Do burger stands count?
There's an amazing guy in his little stall downtown in Kitakyushu that sells burgers that can only be described as "Orgasmic"...
Makes all the burgers himself during the day and cooks them there and then in front of you and serves them complete with a "Special sauce" which seems to be a combination of teriyaki sauce and HP sauce.

Incredible.

Of course, Subway grinds them all into the ground.
I agree entirely... I am also a regular Subway man, but sometimes a burger is nice...
(Haven't found a Subway here in Kitakyushu yet though)

I rarely eat fast food. Most of it destroys my stomach.

Out of the big 3, BK hands down, but McD has the best fries

I'm surprised only one person has said Jack in the Box, but it probably has something to do with the fact that they're only prominent in certain states, most notably Texas and California. The Double Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger is...well, theres simply no other word to describe it so I'm just going to have to make one up. Scrumptrilescent.. Easily the greatest mainstream fast food burger ever, and that's not even counting the other fantastic items on the menu.

Aside from Jack in the Box, I'd have to say In-n-out. Everytime I've been out to Cali I make it a point to stop there. Hell, I'd vote for them based solely on their fries, and that's not counting the delicious burgers.

In-and-Out. No competition.

Out of the 'mainstream' fast food joints i'd give it to Jack in the Box. Awesome Ultimate Cheeseburger. Plus their commercials are ridiculously good.
In-and-out, for me, has completely invalidated all other fast food.

In n' Out.

Although I despise how they add Bible verses to your food. I tend to enjoy my food without having religion forced at me.

But the 100x100 makes up for it I suppose.

Because I am suffering from severe mental retardation at the moment, I accidentally pressed the post button twice.

...

Don't judge me!

No ones going to say White Castle? I'll admit I never ate one, but I heard they were by far the greatest.

I can't honestly decide which burger I like the best. They're all so delicious...

How can no one say Chik-fil-a? I am from New York so I never had one till I went down south and oh my god it's the best fast food I have ever had.

lets see, ive had in and out burger that people keep raving about, and they are ok, not good not great, but ok. ive had fat burger as well, which are better than your average burgert king/mcdonald's burger, but is way too expensive.

wendy's, i hate. with all their preching about having fresh never frozen meat, their burgers taste more frozen and processed than anyone elses. how is a square beef patty not frozen and processed?

fudruckers, though its not very fast for fast food, has amazing burgers. about a pound of meat with an insane choice of toppings. but still nothing compares to home made in my opinion.
