The rachni queen was no trouble at all for me. The second she asked to be freed i wanted to do that.loc978 said:I sat and thought about the Geth mission for awhile, pretty much as described by Extra Credits...
But that decision wasn't half as difficult for me as the Rachni.
Why couldn't you have preserved the base but given the information to the council?ZombieHunter said:Are you fricking kidding me? The only real choice I faced was the Collector base. I'm a hardcore paragon, foregoing any renegade action, no matter how easy it would make things, but this was a real problem
I had the same initial reaction, but then had a niggling little doubt claw its way up to the surface.D Moness said:The rachni queen was no trouble at all for me. Well it depends whether you have one as your love interest. If you pick that one, it's a selfish choice of letting one person die because you're boning the other, but if you don't then you have to live with the guilt that you killed your lover.Sharalon said:Genophage cure and the geth rewriting were excellent, but i was suprised that people voted for Ashley/Kaidan since thats not really a moral choice is it? :s Pick one of them, thats a choice, but not really a moral choice.
Thats what I thought too, less about "What is right and wrong in this situation" and more "Whom are you planning on boneing". Or maybe that was just me.Sharalon said:Genophage cure and the geth rewriting were excellent, but i was suprised that people voted for Ashley/Kaidan since thats not really a moral choice is it? :s Pick one of them, thats a choice, but not really a moral choice.
My problem is i do not wanna be responsible for the extinction of any species if it is avoidable. Yes they are potentially a very dangerous species(so is the krogan) but why judge(and sentence to death) a sentient being for something that happened before it was even born. I believe in second chances.loc978 said:I had the same initial reaction, but then had a niggling little doubt claw its way up to the surface.
What if she's lying? What are the possible repercussions?
Even assuming she's not... what if, despite her best intentions, her children expand beyond her control and the Rachni wars happen again?
...In the end, I pushed the doubt back down, not wanting to be party to finishing the genocide that the Krogan started.
...but that doubt is still there...
I saved them so I could tell them to kiss my ass in the second gamecystemic said:i think they kinda ruined the whole thing by having paragon or renegade points awarded for each decision, i mean how is it morally ambiguous if you clearly say, this will give you good points and this bad. otherwise id have to say the geth heretic decision in the second one, followed closely by ash/kaidan and then save or not save the council (I actually let the pompous assholes die first time around and in the second game i saved them so they'd reinstate me)
