Poll: Best Nintendo Console?

I'll have to say SNES. Nintendo really topped out on that thing, what with the fantastic library and all. They also created the controller that every console since has aped, with only a few changes.
Shame that the N64 stumbled so badly. If Nintendo had kept the SNES-style controller and made the thing read off CDs, they might have been on top from then until now.

I'm surprised to see so many fellow Gamecube fans.
Gamecube had a great many classic titles i.e. Mario Sunshine, SB Melee, Wind Waker, along with excellent versions of 3rd party titles like Time Splitters 2 and MoH: Frontline. Unlike the N64, the games haven't aged badly either.

It's a tie between SNES and DS for me, but I voted for SNES in the poll.
I'm glad my SNES still works. Being able to play Super Metriod and Yoshi's Island whenever I want is fantastic.

Urgh, very hard choice, it's a tie between:
GBA = You can play GBC games on it, it has Pokemon red's remake, better games, i still play it to this day.
SNES = My favourite home console of all time, its has my favourite game, super metroid, and it's library is just plain awesome
WII = Underrated, is filed with first party gems and some underrated 3rd parties (Muramasa anyone?) and most of all, VIRTUAL CONSOLE.
I refuse to vote due to these reasons :S

Well that's not how everyone looks at it, it's through the Gamecube timeline we remember all the great games that was released for it. It was a console that took a step in the right direction.teisjm said:

I'm not sure Pocket was an accurate name though, they weren't that small really, quite slim by any standards but not all that small. Although since becoming a fully grown adult it does finally fit in the pocket of some of my trousers.
