Poll: Best Nolan Movie.

Having seen most of Nolan's films (and even a few of his short films), I'd have to say that my top five films of his are:

  3. "Inception Begins"
  2. "The Dark Inception"
  1. "The Inception Inception"

hmm......so that's my list, though keep in mind that I haven't seen "The Inceptioning" yet, and I've heard that it's a pretty good inception, plus "The Inception Inception Rises" comes out early next inception, and definitely inceptions like it will be Nolan's best inception yet.

[small]So that's that. Now I'm off to the inceptions to go see "Inception & Inception 3D" with my inceptions. After that inception, I think I'll microwave some inceptions for inception, take my inception for a long walk, play some "Inception City," and then go to inception early, cuz I got inception inception inceptions to inception...[/small]

Batman Begins is good.
Inception has too many inconsistencies within its logic, great film, but nothing compared to the others.
The Dark Knight is an awesome film, but I rarely felt mentally challenged by it. It was prime entertainment, but nothing else.
I have not seen Insomnia.
Memento is one of the most brilliant movies I've seen, I barely managed to keep the plot organized in my head as the movie went on, but I managed to do it.
However, the vote went to The Prestige, as it's one of the few films that change the second time you see it.

But speaking of Nolan's movies, why the hell has this man not won an Oscar (academy award) yet? He is one of the most impressive directors in the world, he has created some of the most intriguing movies ever made, and those fossils at the academy still haven't recognized him!

Either Memento or The Prestige for his best, maybe I'd give the edge to The Prestige because it had better acting overall. Next would be Inception which my only thing to dislike about it was how action heavy(boring action at that) it got it near the end. The Dark Knight was good but definitely overrated and had quite a few problems. Batman Begins was pretty boring to me actually, it it was around the third time that I actually finished watching it. The others I've never watched.

Tough call. Have to say I love The Prestige, Dark Knight, and Memento all equally. The only one of his movies I don't really like is Insomnia.

Right now Inception and TDK are tied with 21 each. Then Memento is second with 18. This is exactly how it should be.

I've only seen the two Batman and, Inception. Out of those I'd go with the later though. My favorite Batman movies have been the animated ones followed by the two by Burton. I liked Inception well enough but not enough to try his other movies. Prestige looked interesting though.

Inception didn't have one-dimensional characters? Really?

'By golly, those characters were just so interesting' isn't something I'd be saying if asked about why I enjoyed watching Inception so much.

Memento and The Prestige are awesome and are my favorites by far...I'd say because of Nikola Tesla/David Bowie, The Prestige wins overall.

...And because it's more of a character story than Memento is, and therefore had a more engaging story for me. Also because knowing the "twist" in The Prestige makes the movie just as interesting (if not more so), whereas with Memento it helps one follow things better in a chronological sense, but there isn't much to read into such that knowing the ending helps one find new, interesting things about the film in subsequent viewings.

Inception was kind of interesting the first time but it's one of those movies where the more you watch it, the more hollow it feels. It didn't "blow my mind" or anything, and felt like one of his sloppiest works, to be kind of honest. The Dark Knight was pretty good, but I'd rank some of the animated films above it, because it had the same hollow feeling after multiple viewings. Insomnia was kinda meh, Batman begins wasn't bad but at the same time was kind of meh. I haven't seen Following.

Focused yes, but hardly one dimensional. It's the same as with most good heist films. Many of the characters brought in are there to fill a specific role within the team. However, they are only one dimensional if their personality remains the same regardless of the situation. The thoughts and motives of those involved in the "heist" in Inception do change through the film. So, while I won't say there's an immense level of depth, they are hardly one dimensional.

ive only seen the batman ones and inception. I like Inception the best, then batman begins, then the dark knight.

I gotta say, I'm happy to see that 80% of the vote didn't go to The Dark Knight.
For me, Inception is the best of his movies, and one of my personal favourite movies of all time. The Prestige is a close second for Nolan though.
Also, keep in mind that I haven't seen Memento or Insomnia, much to my own dismay.
