DLC are tiny expansion packs ! I mean the ones on discs like kanes wrath or silver isles

There aren´t going to be more Fallout 3 expansion Packs and Fallout 4 is rather unlikely.

Sorry to be so perdictive, but just randomly declaring Fallout 3 can die without saying why makes me assume it's for the same old reasons everyone has been saying since they released the second trailer for it...

I'm actually glad it's not going to be another TES game.

I mean, the great thing about the franchise is that they really take their time on them and release them only when the fans are about to drown in a pool of their own drool.

It keeps the franchise appreciated.

It's not.
If I recall, they said they're not releasing any more DLC.

They can't, at least not on consoles. Microsoft set some limit for its games and their DLC limits- 1000g for the full game, 1700g with all DLC included. And last I heard, F3 has already used up their gamerscore with Zeta. So it's definitely not DLC.

I would bet money on New Vegas.

And OP, this nagging thing in the back of my mind gas has to come out. It's "Elder Scrolls". Dunno where you got "Elder King Scrolls".

It could be the Fallout MMO that interplay have supposedly been working on for like 10 years now.

That's an opinion. While I did like the game, I never got the replay value that I got with Oblivion. To this day, I'm still doing quests in Oblivion, and I've been playing literally since it came out. Plus, Oblivion had varied environments that were fun to look at. Sure, a post-apocalyptic wasteland is neat to see for the first time since the bombs fell, but it just got bland after a few hours of gameplay. And don't even get me started on the random debris and rocks.

If F3 is all that you've been exposed to, I'd suggest going back and playing Oblivion, and maybe even Morrowind. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Assassin's Creed also come to mind when you say "open ended games".

I think right now they have more plans for Fallout, I hope this gives them time to think about and polish the next Elder Scrolls Game.

I think I'd like an Elder Scrolls MMO more than a Fallout one. I mean, don't they already have a generic post-apocalyptic wasteland MMO? And wasn't it featured here on the Escapist a few months ago?
