Poll: Beyond Good - The Beyond Good and Evil thread

Almost finished it and I just wanted to announce to the whole world that I love Beyond Good and Evil. It is FUN!

There's so much to say so i'll just give my favourite moment.

The best chase in gaming history where there's laser bolts flying overhead, scenery collasping, guards hot on your tail, a baddy with a flying suit behind them, death dyfing leaps, pumping beats and best of all a slow motion bullet time jump. Awesome. My only criticism of the chase (and the game) is that it is too short.

So, what about you? Played it? Love it? Your best moment?

Its only about £5 on Steam, well worth a buy.

I wish I could have liked it, I really, really do, but like Psychonauts (I know I'll be killed and mutilated for this) the game itself just wasn't that good. The universe and story was great and original (and so were some gameplay elements), but a mediocre game with a good story is still a mediocre game.

I loved that game. I just thought it wa sa breath of fresh air getting points for taking pictures of stuff instead of killing it.

Oh yeah, picture taking, I took a really bad one for my Report and I kept seeing it again and again and again. Highly embarrassing.

BG&E was one of the best Xbox games ever made, and it's sad to see how obscure it is. It actually made me enjoy stealth gameplay, since it's one of the few games that did it well.

I agree, but not with the Psychonauts part. I found the gameplay in Beyond Good and Evil to just be terribly. The controls were clunky, stealth sections that should have been easy were altogether too hard BECAUSE of the clunky controls, the fighting was boring and repetitive...There just wasn't anything good about it other than MAYBE the story, although I consider that a basic rebels vs. bad-guy government situation.

I loved every part of Beyond Good and Evil. It is one of the few games that made me cry. Along with BIOSHOCK and Grand Theft Auto 4.
