Title says it all. Which of Big Hero 6's team members do you count as your favourite? Also, before anyone asks, yes I'm including Tadashi on here. I know he wasn't technically part of the superhero team, but he was still part of the overall group, so he's going on here.

Fred was the best, his jokes made me laugh and he really brought the whole thing together with his honest attempts to be a hero.

Baymax. You can't best this:

Also, Honey Lemon really looks like a cousin of mine. While I don't mind the character, it was kind of weird (and funny) watching her on screen.

Well Baymax is the best hands down of course :p I guess for me it would be a tie between Wasabi and Honey Lemon. Wasabi is cool and his OCD is endearing, but Honey Lemon is strangely subtle in ways I did not expect. Her "power" is seemingly spontaneous and imprecise, but really to pull it off it requires a lot of precision and knowledge, as well as creativity. And the way she pronounces "Hiro" in a distinctly Japanese way which none of the other characters do also caught me by surprise, and makes me wonder more about her. I realize it's supposed to be in a place which is rampant with Japanese culture, but the fact that only she does it so consistently is something I find interesting.

Fred.

Just watched it recently. Not exactly Toy Story but still fun. Hoping for a sequel in the next few years.

Honey Lemon's the sponge balls lady, right? If so, her simply for that reason. It would be Baymax, but my opinion of Baymax sours whenever I think of that cop-out ending.

Haaaairy baby...

I love Baymax so much.

Although Go-Go is a very close second. I dunno, maybe I have a thing for no-nonsense tough women. Also the phrase "Woman up" is fantastic.

They're all pretty rad in their own right, but not a single one comes even remotely close to Baymax. The most adorable character I've seen on screen in a long long time.

Just... The fist-bump thing, his voice, the low-battery spiel, every freakin' time he tries to care for someone, his entire damn walking cycle. I mean good lord, so cute.

I love 'em all. What can I say. Even Hiro, his journey was real.

Definitely voted for Baymax though. That robot is amazing.

Tough call since they're all quite fun... but I'm going with Baymax. He's just so adorable!

Wasabi. His OCD and neurotic quirks paired with his (in my opinion) realistic responses to the crazy junk that kept happening made him easily the best character. Really, you could point to almost any scene in the movie and I could point out something funny and/or realistic from Wasabi.

My second would be Go-Go. I've always enjoyed characters built on speed, her "Woman up" line, her design both visually and personality wise is fantastic. One touch I particularly enjoyed is if you pay attention to her racing outfit for those 2 minutes in the labs its nearly identical to her super suit.

Fred and Baymax are actually at the bottom of my list. Baymax was actually too much the "Friendly Huggable Mascot", which admittedly and impressively is actually stated as part of his purpose in-universe. And Fred was pretty much a fire-breathing Shaggy. Both kind of felt like somewhat pandering executive mandated cut-outs. "OK, we need a mascot character to slap on the McDonald's Happy Meals. Make one and make him cute for the kids." While Fred was kind of a "teenager appeal" character. Of course this is all my opinion and I see that most of their scenes were actually pretty good.

Off-topic, while Wasabi may be a neat freak, but it doesn't qualify as ocd. Ocd is when your obsession for order and/or ritualized behavior seriously affects your ability to lead a normal life. There is no evidence of this in Wasabi's behavior. As for his following the law: he has good reason.

On topic, Hiro helped make the gear for everyone else, and the micro-bots. Hiro wins.

ah mannnn, this is tough...

I REALLY REALLY wish tadashi would've gotten more screen time, really liked him as the older brother figure. Hiro pretty much soup'd up everyones inventions let alone his own microbots, so he's pretty cool in his own right, but it probably goes to baymax on this one, just loved the big fluffy guy.

I am satisfied with his care :)

go-go is a definite honorable mention though, loved her attitude appeal.

Go-Go Tamango followed by Baymax followed by Wasabi. Go-Go is a boss and her wheel weapons are my absolute favorite followed by Wasabi's laser swords. Whenever she said "Woman Up!" I died. I sort of want this to be a thing everywhere. Forever. Just, whenever someone gets all scared someone replies "Grow a pair and woman up!". I wouldn't complain if Big Hero 6 got a cartoon series. If How To Train Your Dragon could do it, then...

My favourite was Baymax because of course it was, his delivery was superb, my girlfriend and I absolutely died at everything he said in the first half of the film.

My second favourite was Honeylemon for the intricacy of her gear, on the surface of it she actually has some of the worst abilities but a lot of what she does aims to buff everyone else's abilities. She's the bard of the group. In addition a lot of her effects can be stacked together to form the most impressive combinations (certainly way above 'the sign is on fire'). I like a tool that needs subtlety to use.

Least favourites were Fred and Go-go. Go-go had an alright skillset, I just didn't like her tagline particularly, 'man up' works because it's telling someone to grow up and behave like the idealised stereotype of a man, one of whose qualities is stoicism. Telling someone to woman up and behave like a stereotypical woman is significantly different in effect.

Fred was just irritating. He didn't fit with the rest of the group in any way, I can see no good reason for him to be involved aside from as the financier.

Incidentally my first watch through I wasn't sure who the villain was going to be. I think they made the right choice for a shortish film but they could have had some fun with

Tadashi being the villain. I wasn't sure whether he'd be dead to motivate Hiro or whether his years of work on Baymax, eclipsed by his mid-teen brothers homerun on his first try, had pushed him over the edge.

Judging by the look on my girlfriends face when I told her I don't think that would have been very kid friendly.

Well, Baymax was programmed to be awesome, which is good, but I think Fred just plain is.
