Poll: Black Mesa vs. Aperture Science

Between Half Life, Opposing Force, Blue Shift, HL2, Episode 1 and Episode 2 there's been six games to build up a story around Black Mesa, and yet in the space of 2 games Portal's given more background, character and interaction with Aperture Science.

It feels unfair to declare Aperture the winner until we're more informed of Black Mesa, imo.

Well THAT and there's far more buzz around Aperture at the moment.

I would say aperature but if you completed the co-op for portal 2, you would see the scienctists were doing some crazy, bad shit down there.

I dunno wether or not black mesa was that bad, sure they caused all the aliens teleporting but that was really intentional

Yep, whereas Black Mesa brought about the enslavement of the human race accidentally, Aperture Science tortured humanity on purpose (oh, excuse me, For Science!)

Also, they have all their ideas. and SOMEONE steals them.

Why?

Well, on the whiteboard at Black Mesa, there's Newton's gravitational equation written down. Whereas, the Schroedinger equation is scrawled on walls in the enrichment centre.

Having done a degree in physics, if only one of these equations were to be written down, I know which one I'd pick.
