It's perfect too, because my gf wants more of the pokemon in Black, so we both ordered the ones we wanted

It's a reference to Yin and Yang, which is what the legendaries are supposed to esemble (with Kyurem being the "void"). The yin-yang symbol is of course half-white with a black dot, and half-black with a white dot.
