Poll: Blacklight: Tango Down, good arcade game or generic FPS?

I recently (last month) got a game off the XBLA called Blacklight: Tango down and honestly I was extremely surprised. I thought it was going to be another bad arcade game but I got it anyway. It's a FPS with a lot of coustomization options for the guns and the online multiplayer is very good (If a little unbalanced) and the "Black Ops" missions are fun and varied. So to the other people who got this game, what do you think of it?

It's great fun. I have a right blast with it, I don't play it often, but it's definitely a good FPS. My only gripe with it is how people at higher levels will absolutely dominate, but that's actually a good thing. Reward the players who are at higher levels.

I'm really glad you suggested it too us. It's the most fun I've had on a multiplayer in years. It just needs more players.

Oh and all those reviews saying it is bad on PC. That's bull. You have to install 'games for windows live' so if you have a 360 live account you use that basically. That means the servers are actually full of people playing on both xbox and PC. Plus the wired 360 controler is fully usable in it without secondary programs to hotkey it.

So essentially it's just like playing it on the xbox.

It kinda felt like i was playing counterstrike for some reason. Never the less I didn't like it. For that reason I would say generic.

I played it a bit earlier , it`s alright but the higher ranked players will destroy any newcomers by virtue of having the best gear , i had one game ealier where all the opposition players were rank 20+,i was rank 4 all i`ll say is unloading a whole clip into someone and watching them turn around and kill you with one burst is annoying

I don't know about xbox but the game is horrible on computer.

takes a while to find a match and when you do it starts with only 6 players which is way to boring.

The wall-hacking visor promotes camping which sucks

Every game I've been in has had someone quit on one team then its 2v3 and the stronger side pushes the other team to their spawn basically making it an almost spawn camp

it was a complete waste of 15 bucks

Uninstalled and forgotten (till now) less than an hour after install completed.Should have checked the Steam forum before buying, where it is getting smeared by those that bought it. XBox 360 port is the definition of bad game.

Yea it's mad isn't it. My xbox has redringed so I've not really been able to talk to any of my mates on it but when I sorted out the windows live and connected my Xbox ID to it. It just signed me in. the only thing I don't seem to be able to do is join parties.

You can chat but you can't play with console gamers... This was scrapped by Microsoft for extremely hilarious reasons.

I have to admit, between the spawn camping, and lack of players making it extremely difficult finding a game, it was not worth the money, thoe alien swarm came out a few days later and i would have gladly paid 15 dollars for that.
