O-neg, but for reasons that have never been made entirely clear to me incapable of receiving transfusions from even other O-negs. Some kind of very rare mutation, apparently...I'd still make a pretty lame X-Man.

No. O-neg is the universal donor, AB+ the universal recipient. O-neg is actually the most exclusive recipient, as it will only accept other O-neg erythrocytes.

I thought I was A- until I had a blood transfusion. Turns out I'm actually A+.

I'd donate blood if I could. I tried to donate blood 3 times and tried to donate bone marrow once. I only recently found out that they kept turning me away because of my Crohn's Disease.

Ahha thanks, I knew my blood group was good for someone just not me then, oh well. lets hope I don't need an emergency transfusion any time soon
