Buzzards were particularly annoying as I didn't have phaselock and you literally can't adjust your aim through a scope fast enough to hit the crit spots since they never hold still.
Phaselocking a Buzzard does mental damage :p. Around level 25 it does 2.5k damage on them. 2 locks + a rocket or some other shots.. and its down.

Only been playing Maya for now.. Every once in a while I lament about not having Phasewalk instead :(, I love me my movement speed :x.

If I get Borderlands before Gaige comes out, I'll go with Siren. Otherwise, Mechromancer sounds like too much fun to pass up.

Gaige's skill trees are released today http://www.borderlands2.com/us/skilltree/mechromancer.html

I'm pretty dissappointed, as unlike the other characters I have almost zero trouble making a build with her. I want nothing to do the Ordered Chaos whatsoever, so that eliminates one entire tree.

I only want about half of Best Friends forever, and half of Little Big Trouble so thats what I'll do.

Honestly aside from like 5 skills overall she looks boring "on paper" so I hope DT wrecks faces.

Basically the "head shots make them go boom" skill and the "fully loaded mag regens health" skill are my main interests here.

Hopefully her mods rock. Currently I'm not digging the "I want this effect, but I don't use any of those skills it boosts" and vise versa crap for Maya.

Surprising number of melee skills there for HER and DT.

Played Maya on my first playthrough. The Cataclysm tree just wrecks everything.

Started a playthrough with Salvadore. Too early to tell really but I like the character at least.

I have a profile for each class with a different play group. I voted Assassin for my single player go since it is my furthest but so far my favorite has been a tie between siren and assassin. I like the Siren for group play a lot more because I feel like I contribute since I like to snipe which often leaves me hiding in the distance not getting in the fray.

Commando, I like being the rally point for my team and the support guy. Mechromancer is going to be fun too, will probably try solo with her.

The Siren, because I have a phobia of band-aids, the eject button on Axton's brow freaks me out, and my friend already went with Zer0

I don't really have a main character. I'm good with pretty much anyone except axton (becuase his skills are so heavily focused on using his turret), but I'm best with Maya or my melee Zer0.

Maya. Went for a thoughtlock (motion) build until I realized that thoughtlock was absolutely terrible, and respecced into cataclysm, with leftover points going in to motion to decrease phaselock cooldown.

Realy like the character, but I hate a lot of her class mods.

I play Zero for the same reason most people do.

Mysterious robot-alien-ninja-assassin dudes are badass.

Also he has the same name as Zero from Megaman..... and zero in Megaman is a fucking boss.

Though I will make a Mechromancer when she gets released.
This. I liked the thought of being able to dual wield rocket launchers but Zer0 was too awesome to pass up.

I've loved my Commando so far despite going with Mordecai in Borderlands 1.
I think I'll max out a Siren as support/medic next :)

I have Zero... It's an obsession born from being in the military, that I don't like wasting ammo... so as I didn't know how availiable ammo would be I chose a sniper build...

I quite like it... I never melee, so only have options from his first (left) tree... and it works for me...
I also have some good grenades, that combined with decoy, get me out of trouble if needed!

I want to eventially play as all the characters though... especialy Gaige when she is released.

I love the way you can change your class mods in BL as well... I always worry about what to put them in in games... and I always end up changing my play style due to what I find in game, and then realise all my mods are in the wrong place! Loved the fact I could change it in this one to suit my needs...!

So far I have mained Zero. I just found him too awesome to pass up, I specced into the melee tree and have been having so much fun stealthing and meleeing an enemy for more than half their health. I have a class mod to reduce his stealth cooldown so I can nearly always put that on whenever I am in trouble to let my shield recharge and usually kill any lower level enemy.

I haven't finish the game with him yet though but I may try out the Siren, I only just got her to level 6 and while she seems fun I am unsure if I want to continue or not. I have no idea how to skill her but I may go into the red tree, Cataclysm I think.

Haven't played it yet, but if the first game is anything to go by, I'd avoid melee attacks altogether, as they don't scale. That was the problem with Brick in the first game. There comes a point when your guns will outright surpass melee damage. Plus if you used melee primarily, your weapon proficiencies will be shot. Not sure if there are still WP's in this game though,

Commando because turret. I used Roland as my main in the first game, so the commando seemed like the best choice for me.

I've played all of them and basically I found this:
Zer0 is mostly useless, Maya is OP early game but becomes more balanced with the other classes towards the end and Salvador is weaker than others early on but by level 50 he's probably the best.

Commando is damn good throughout. That's why I use him most of the time.

Yea, I've been using a Siren when playing with friends and a Gunzerker for solo play. The Siren seems to have the best support perks for teammates to take advantage of; a shotgun blast to the face can heal a friend up quite a bit.
The 'zerker has a lot of good solo perks; one of the first ones is health regen.

I played Roland in 1 so I decided to go with Axton in this one as he's currently 36 as I am about to make my TVHM play-trough and get more epic loot I was thinking of going with zero as my next character or maybe play Maya this this time and give all my enemies painful elemental damage to them

I'm playing as Zero and co-oping with my friend and my sister, both of whom are Sirens. Zero was really cool, and on the melee skill tree could do some ridiculous damage, but now that I'm getting towards the end game (of my first run through) it seems to be getting a lot harder to stab people and not end up getting killed, so I have respecced to a different skill tree. It's a bit less fun, but I don't die as much now.

Once I have completed the game, we're going to start anew, my friend already has dibs on the mechromancer, so I'm thinking Gunzerker or Siren when we next play.

Playing as Salvador, originally I was gonna play Axton, but didn't want to double the commando when I was gonna play with a friend, so I went gunzerker instead, and it is hella fun.

Specced in the tank tree and literally never dies, if I'm actually near death, pop zerk for massive heal and regen with double weps and if something weird happens and I almost die while zerking, pop it again to flip the bird on your enemies, get full health and massive damage reduction. And having this with the Inconceivable talent you get ammo in the clip the more you get hurt up to 50% chance for it to proc you pretty much never have to reload either.
