Poll: Borderlands Anyone?

I wanted to see if anyone here had actually heard of this game. I'm getting really pumped for it, because it looks really cool. Problem is, I don't see anyone talking about it! I just wanted to see what the Escapist community thought about it.

Never heard about it before. It looks good but I am not interested, I lost interest in FPS games long ago but I am sure it will grow big soon and then the hype will out grow it.

I saw it and am looking forward to it, but I doubt that I'll buy it this year (maybe when the price drops). The art style for the game changed and now looks a bit like a comic book, but that made me not so excited for it...here's the picture:

I was really into it up until they changed the art style. I'm really, really against the new look, but because of the gameplay of the old version, which looks utterly fantastic, I'll probably get it anyway. I just wish they would have stuck with the realistic graphis over the cell-shaded vibe, because post-apocalyptia always looks better in high def

I remember reading about this game in Game Informer. It seems like an awesome game.

It looks pretty good. Apparently it's gone cel-shaded. By the way, I thought it was a 3rd person shooter with heavy vehicle combat and RPG elements?

Oh, the 3rd person thing's the vehicle combat... Just noticed.

Hell yah I'm excited. I heard about it a while ago, but I haven't heard a word in a long long time. Glad to know it's still in existence.

I'm actually anticipating this game less than I was after watching this video. Ya, there are a lot of different kinds of guns, but the gameplay looks pretty boring.

The new cell-chaded look looks pretty lame, but I can see why they did it, to try and branch away from the realistic side to the more fun side.
Still think that the old style was better, but whatever.

I'll probably get it a few months after release, when the price drops
