Poll: Borderlands Characters

I am playing as Lilith now and most likely will be for a long time into the future. I love using the Phase shift ability to just pop right next to an enemy to stun him, or using it to run away at a mile a minute and start sniping them.

However, judging from this poll, maybe I should try Roland.

Stick with Lilith if you're levelling her, she is the most powerful character at higher levels.

With a fast SMG, a good class mod and her elemental skills, you can play the game like it's COD4 with a P90. She does insane damage.

Then again that little bird can do over 9000 damage in a single shot.

Yeah.

I was never really into Pokemon though.

I'm kind of wishing I would of picked Mordecai now, just to be different.

most of the people i played with have been mordecai i havent seen a roland yet lol like i was going be mordecai at first but all my mates picked him and i didnt think a team of 4 of the same person would be very fun so i picked to be brick just because he looks like a hard mofo xD

Mordecai, or Dr. Rofl Stomps as I like to call him. You have to love throwing an corrosive acid bird at people then popping their faces while they are distracted.

I was initially torn between Lilith and Brick, but went for Brick in the end because he can go punch the SHIT out of things. Especially fun when you have an explosive artifact to boost your punches and Sting Like A Bee maxed out...it's great when somebody's head comes off.

My main is Roland. Also, i have to ask, am I the only one who doesn't like any of the characters in terms of character? I find the whole "style" of the game to be kind of grating? All the hill billy, hick talk and yahoo characters aren't really my thing. Game's definitely fun though.

I haven't got it yet, but from the trailers I'd probably play as The Siren. Not because she's a chick or anything, just because her abilities seem like the coolest.

Okay and she's a little hot.

Roland all the way, I simply find combat rifles to be the most effective all-purposes weapon available. Of course I'm of that opinion in nearly any game, from CoD to L4D.

Wow, the spread was more balanced than I expected.

Ended up playing as Mordecai, kicked serious ass with my revolver and sniper. Currently on level 47.

So did I, he's great fun to play as. Especially in co-op, for the comedy factor.

Lilith wins hands down for me in solo games though. She has a tough time at the start but once she's levelled up she's a beastly unstoppable death machine.

I've been playing the siren with a build is a Hit & Run crit machine, the only problem: the strategy becomes a lot less effective when there are 4 players on the field. Is she my favorite? So far I've played everyone but the sniper, and I have liked them all. I don't think there is an inherently weak class.

Definitely Mord, Bloodwing is glitchy as hell but I like sniping and he is the best choice for that.

when i went on it today i saw a soldier FIRST time lol aww i dont know probs look of the draw and depends what your friends like to play as, the soilder dose look cool though i can see why people would want to play as him in borderlands.

i know this is kind of off the point but in normal fps i hardly ever use the shotgun but in borderlands its the main type of weapon i use xD i think its because everything comes running at me anyways so i miles get some close double barrel action whilst am there xD

If I had Borderlands, I would play an all-rounder or a sniper. So Mordecai or Roland would be my pick.
