is it?
i spend hours and hoursjust to get the damn guardian angel thing to speak to me again after grinding again and again on boring missions
and what she tells me to do i am not high enough level to do
the enemies are too hard
its a fun expierience but anything in excess is terrible
so i ask borderlands fans
does it get more fun later or is it not worth it

It is, but with one important caveat: get people to play it with. And not just "people", people you know and can coordinate and talk to.

Knowing when to have your Soldier lay down covering fire so the Hunter can get into a good sniping position is never a bad thing.

same game, just with increasingly better guns, and only really fun if you have some friends to co-op with.

Well, I thought it was okay, but after a while it got lonely, repetitive, and the multiplayer people just ran away from me.

So if you must play it, just rent

Methinks you're not doing enough side missions.

Anyways, if you find the current missions boring, the only real change that will happen later on is the kind of guns you're using.
You don't seem to like it now, you're probably not going to like the later missions.

Borderlands is one of the most pure "fun" experiences I've ever had gaming. Not so much "happiness", "enjoyment" or any other big words, but fun. It's stupid, wild, primal, mouth-hooting, bum-smacking fun. The sort of wild three-year old glee that I got from watching guys explode et cetera.
So if wild honking glee isn't your thing, then no.

It's best in a multiplayer setting. And by multiplayer, I mean friends who understand the meaning of "co-op". I would not have enjoyed this game alone. With three friends it was a blast!

Borderlands is not subtle. It's not about skill or persuasion. It is an unashamed shoot 'em up, loot 'em up game, and you better like the feeling of getting a big BIG gun and blasting your way through people wearing ski masks with your mates, otherwise you will be disappointed.

Without trying to spoil things, I didn't particularly enjoy the ending. But the journey was fun, so I forgave the game.

The gameplay never changes, only the weapons do.

Hell, if you want to see the ending, find a borderlands weapon modding forum(doesn't work if you play on the 360) and grab one of the godlike weapons from there to make the game easier.

Dude, you better not be playing solo. That game is built to played multiplayer. Get a friend around to play co-op, failing that go online. Get the Knoxx DLC and party hard.

I loved it, bought it with the Mad Moxxi and Zombie Island DLC and it was totally worth it. But like everyone is saying, it is best played with friends, on-line or in real life
