Poll: Borderlands or RAGE?

I have been looking foward to Borderlands since I saw the E3 trailers, however I only became aware of RAGE recently, and I was immediately struck by how similar the games look.

Both are first person shooters, with an emphasis on vehicular combat, set in barren wasteland enviroments. The differences between them being that Borderlands is a pure sci-fi, set on an alien planet populated by monsters, similar to Lost Planet, while RAGE seems to be based on post-apocalyptic Earth, in the style of Fallout.

I can't help but feel that this is a "Prototype vs inFamous" situation, with two different developers producing two quite similar games.

So my question is, which game are you most looking foward to?

Personally, I pick Borderlands, since I've been playing Fallout 3 on and off for nearly a year now, and the post-apocalyptic theme is getting a bit old. Hopefully borderlands will have a fresher storyline, and I like the concept of randomly generated guns.

been interested in borderlands for a while, and the random generation aspect appears interesting, with - what was it? 625,000 possible guns? i expect this will be kicked in the teeth to make way for mor characters we wont care about, but its still looking good

Borderlands! I like dystopian settings but I've had my fill the last year or so.

I also like the look of the Borderlands characters.

I also dislike the graphic style in Borderlands, it just doesn't do it for me. Rage gets my vote and id Software is the more experienced developer.

Since Borderlands is released this October, and RAGE isn't released until next year, I'll probably finish Borderlands and end up getting RAGE as well.

Both. I doubt it'll be Prototype vs inFamous again, since the release windows are pretty far apart.

Probably borderlands for the Co-op and what I have seen so far simply looks better then Rage to me.
