Now that the Borderlands 2 Skill Trees are available, which vault hunter will you be using...first?

I'm going to be using Commando and I'm getting the survival tree to max first. Then I'm going for the Longbow upgrade and then I'm going to split my final 4 points into two and two of the first skill in the leftmost skill tree.

Until I see the mechromancer, I'll go with the assassin skill tree, probably the Cunning and the rest into the Bloodshed tree's.

Assassin. Assassin all the way. Definitely going Bloodshed unless that stacking limit on Critical Ascenti0n isn't a typo, then fuck yes, Sniping here I come!

Picking Axton first seeing as my mates have dibs on Maya and Zero. Probably gonna load up on Survival first, then respec to Gunpowder or Guerrilla after I get some better loot.

Mostly cos my friends already have dibs on Maya and Zer0

Also, don't look up 'going commando' without brain bleach close at hand.

I should be able to resist...but dammit I can't go past that Ninja. Especially since he comes with Sniper Rifles.

...waiddaminute...Ninja Assassin. F*ck, I can't do this...

Assassin with the sniper skill tree, most probably. It's what I used in the first game and I loved it. Bosses sucked(though it might've been because I played solo), but otherwise it was awesome.

I'm sorry, did people in this thread say NOT Salvador?

I plan to find the biggest, most over the top shooty doomsday device pair of guns possible, and unload ~300 bullets or more into something's face before reloading and doing it all over again.

I plan to use all of them. At least one set up for each character. However, I'll be using Axton first. Survival tree and longbow mod will kick arse

Assassin and focus on the sniping skill tree. Yeah, I'm boring, but I can stack up to 999 critical hits which means I'll be dealing some serious damage.

Salvadore is the only one out of the five that I DON'T want to use actually. He is physically and playstyle-wise about as opposite from me as they could make him. I really appreciate that they have such variety though.

I want to do a gunpowder/survival hybrid of Axton as none of the 3 ultis tickle me, but the bubble shield and rockets do. Very tickley.

I want to go down the right side of sniper to Bore, and the left side of Bloodshed to the bottom for Zer0. Tempted to ONLY used melee and sniper rifles.

But I'm definitely starting as Maya because out of all the characters she has the most versatility, and I love elemental weapons.

I can't decide on the exact build, but I'm probably maxing Ward, Suspension, Convergence, Flicker, Backdraft, Helios, Reaper, Ruin, Immolate and Mind's Eye. Leftover goes into Sweet Release. Alternatively I could skip all Motion tree and build down Harmony to the auto regen and probably be unkillable with so many healing skills.

Cloud Kill might be worth a point, but if it just creates an obscuring fog around my MOVING target i don't see it helping me much. Sure the dot could be significant but I'll already BE using every element I can get my hands on and Ruin/Helios more than covers it.

I got the game because I bought a GTX 660 card for my PC recently. It was a pleasant surprise to say the least. Unlike most people I'm going Axton. I mean, come on people. You can stealth all you like and you can dual wield rocket launchers, but you're still not gonna survive a nuke, I'm sorry. Nukes solve everything... Yes, I'm going gunpowder.

Of course, more than one person seems to go him because others have dibs on something they actually want to play, eh. I just got the impression the least amount of people will be playing Axton as a first pick. Which is fine by me.

After much consideration, I think I'm going with the Gunzerker for solo/tooling around online. He seems to be the most independent with a lot of good health perks for a loner.

With my friends I'll be using the Siren; she seems like the best support character.

I was originally going to go commando while solo and assassin with my friends.

....
And I'll probably change my mind again before I start playing.
