It's almost Boxing Day for those of us in Canada (some other places as well). For those of you who are unaware of what Boxing Day is, it is a holiday the day after Christmas, that comparable to Black Friday in the United States. My question to all of you is, are you going? If so, what are you getting? Games? Other electronics? For some good gaming deals please visit this thread:

As a side question, this will be my first time going shopping on Boxing Day, and I'd like to know what to expect. The store I plan on going to opens at 6:00 AM, and I'm wondering when I should get there.

It's pretty much the same here in the States, we just don't give it a formal name.
I may stop by my local game store and see if they've got any good deals.

This year it seems I am getting more presents after christmas then on christmas. I get more presents because of the discounts, but have to wait for another day or two.

Really, you get Boxing Day and Black Friday? That must be some fun shopping for you guys. Truth be told, I'd rather Black Friday, as it is before Christmas, allowing you to buy cheap presents.

I wish that was the case for me, I'd rather get more, and wait a couple days, than get less but get them earlier. I'll be using Christmas money for my purchases though.

Most stores figure that because the "holiday season" is over, sales would be a nice way to attract potential business.
Hell, cheap stuff works for me.

Not trying to plug my store or anything, but EB seriously has some competitive prices for Boxing Day sales. AC2 for $88, DA:O for $77, GTAIV for $36, DJ Hero $98, etc.

You aren't in Canada, are you? Those prices are higher than normal, which is why I'm wondering.

That makes a lot more sense then. Around here most games originally retail for 70, so I was kind of curious as to why those would be prices to brag about.

Not with all those people running around.... there's a steam sale already which is more than sufficient for me imo.
