Poll: Brad Pitt=Odysseus?

According to IMDB [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1309477/] Brad Pitt is rumored to be Odysseus in a new Odyssey movie.

Discuss should it be remade with Brad Pitt as Odysseus or should someone else be Odysseus.

I just pray it is better than the original Odyssey movie. That was god awful.

Also with Se7en and Fight Club being my favorite movies of all time, its pretty obvious that I love Pitt as an actor, so yes I think he should be Odysseus.

Odysseus; if i recall. Was described as having shaggy red hair and short legs. The whole big deal about him at the time was he was the first 'hero' that wasn't a big giant tough guy. He was wiley.

I think he'd be excellent as he is a very good actor but, he is too pretty. They'd need to ***** up his face and make him less like Adonis first (ha! joke!)

Brad Pitt never really struck me as the Oddysseus type, Achilles yeah, Theseus at best but for a almost entirely Brain-over-Brawn person like Oddysseus then no.

I think Sean Bean should be given the role again.
