What exactly does 'English Breakfast' consist of? Please enlighten my American mind.

However, I quite enjoy homemade egg-biscuit sandwiches. Although, the type of biscuit I eat is more like a savory scone, I suppose.

A ful english breakfast has sausage, beans, fried egg, bacon, black pudding, hash browns and mushrooms, but not everyone does the whole lot

Pancakes! They have to be good pancakes though, none of that Denny's crap. And have some excellent sausage on the side--there's a great breakfast.

Well when I wake up I immediately have some kind of fruit, and then later in the morning I eat a bagel / some cereal. Wow, I should not be having this conversation, I'm not eating today, prepping for a huge dinner, and this is NOT helping my resolve.

Full English all the way. Also think it's known as a fry up.

But who would eat just an egg for breakfast?
