I try and read a chapter of the book I'm reading every week night. But in truth, I maybe manage it 2-4 times a week.

I used to read a book a week at least (Sometimes two if they were short ones). Now I'm busy with school and work so I'm down to about a book a month.

I always have a book (or even two) on the go. I read on the way to college, at night, on the bog. It helps calm me for some reason.

I've just gone through two Dan Brown books and I've started on another. B)

I don't read because I can watch movies, or play video games and I get the stories from that. Its more immersive and conveys emotion better. I is plenty literate though I reads good.

I read mainly science fiction and fantasy books. Lately I have found that if a book isn't part of a series and doesn't have at least 500-600 pages, I have a hard time getting into it. I read books so fast that anything less doesn't give me time to care about the characters or what is going on in the story. I just recently read and love a couple of Peter F. Hamilton books.

is saying 'I prefer fantasy' a taboo? anyhow, über gamers are generally inteligent, but deny it, reading people are stupid, but decive people by using their over-developed vocabulary of obscure words. Lastly we have the mix, gaming readers; an advanced form of humans- so advanced that none gamer/readers are simply to ignorant to even fathom their awesomeness :D

note: I'm a gamer/reader, but probably fit more into reader category! long live floccinaucinihilipilification!

I'm just not the type that likes to read.

This is contrary to those who I know, who would think that I do like to read(they don't know me that well) just based upon my actions.

Oh well, when I did have to read it never got me anywhere(Even non-fiction is just telling me things I've known of for years, and not gained by reading), at least I enjoy gaming.

It really depends on what I feel like, and what book I'm trying to read at the moment. A while back I read a Terry Pratchett book every day until I'd gone through it, but once I started with my next book (a Star Wars one) I... just stopped after a chapter or so, and haven't touched it in months.

Don't know what I can say besides that I should probably read more Terry Pratchett. >_>

I read an average of two to three books a week, depending on thickness and the density of the prose. A book every three days sounds about right.

Seriously, I think I read more than I game. If only because I read in between other things happening, while I need to set some time aside specifically for gaming.
