So unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months Brink is a new FPS set to be released on May 10th in North America and May 13th for the rest of us.

Brink is a first-person shooter with a focus on fluid, parkour style movement similar to that seen in games such as Assassin's Creed and Mirror's Edge and co-operative play. Online play is also a focus of the game, allowing up to sixteen players to play online, eight on each team. The game features both cooperative and team-based competitive options as well as the ability to play against bots.
For this movement, Splash Damage has developed the SMART (Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain) System. It allows players to maneuver around complex environments without equally complex input by analyzing their position and judging what they are trying to do.
Players can customize characters which are based on several archetypes and additional items can be bought with experience points earned by completing objectives. Unlike some similar games (the Call of Duty series for example) the same experience points can be earned in both single player and multiplayer.
The player can choose to play one of four character classes, the soldier, the medic, the engineer and the operative. The Soldier class can resupply teammates and use high explosives to destroy key targets. The Engineer class enhances their teammates' weapons and can place stationary turrets. The Medic class is able to heal fallen teammates and increase their teammates' health. The Operative class can perform acts of sabotage, interrogate fallen opponents to provide intel on enemy locations and disguise themselves and operate as one of the enemy.
While in gameplay, both multiplayer and campaign, the player can bring up a "wheel" of sorts providing various objectives to fulfil. Each of these objectives give a specific amount of experience.
The Squad Commander system provides players with context-sensitive missions. The player's specific position on the map, his relative skill, current progress in the overall mission, and a wide variety of factors influence the available missions.

It has potential.... I'm keeping my eyes on it for now.

EDIT-might want to put the interested but not convinced option on your poll.

I don't like the poll. Where the option saying that it looks fun to play but doesn't look that fantastic.

I'm interested. I'm definitely going to play it, but I haven't been paying it a whole lot of attention. At this point, I'm fairly optimistic about it, and I should have fun with it, but I'm not all that excited for it.

The only FPS I've been interested in for quite a while, and probably the only one I'll be interested in until Battlefield 3.

I do have some fears that the game will be properly balanced for controllers and not for keyboard/mouse. For instance, a balanced sniper rifle on the console version would be overpowered as hell on the PC version if they keep the same stats. I do also have a pretty significant amount of skepticism toward the SMART system as one of the things I enjoy most about an FPS is learning how to move effectively, and I fear that they'll create a system that lacks depth. It's also a little disheartening that I can't really tell if there is a co-op mode or just bot play.

In spite of all that, chances are I'm getting it on release day.
