Middles of course! Nice and soft. As long as they're cooked right. Plus, that's where most of the other goods in the brownie wind up.

The edges never taste as good from baking too much, just from being on the outside, in some cases. So I'll say the middle.

Middle, why would you want that burnt crunchy crap when you can have the soft gooey center.
If the edges are burnt and crunchy, you clearly have no idea how to make brownies. Proper brownie edges are chewy and significantly more awesome than the middle.

So yeah, I prefer edges. The middle is too generic and cake-y, and if I wanted cake, I would make a cake.

The middle bit of anything is generally the best, I find, with the exception of some pizzas with a deeeeeeeelicious crust.

Brownies are no exception.

You know, that's one of those ultimately insignificant things that I really don't care about. I don't care if I get the edge or the middle as long as I get one.

It's all about the gooey centre. Although really I just love the whole thing.

I want brownies now :(

The middle. And the middle of the middle.

That's why I always eat the edges first, then I eat the middles.
