For some reason, playing the same Bulletstorm demo over and over just doesn't get old for me cuz i'm still wondering how i managed over 10000 points in one and (only one) run through. So having multiple maps should carry me through until at least Dragonage comes out.

and they said how it was going to suck and sell really poorly.
I expect Bulletstorm to make a nice beer coaster while I play the Gears of War 3 beta. Then returned to EB. But to your friends point it will sell well just because of the beta.

Might be very good, but I'm still going to hold off on purchase 1) because of DRM 2) because of my huge backlog. I haven't even completed Painkiller yet.

Played the demo, while the game itself is quite alot of fun the scoring kills it.
You can't just go around and shoot/kick people, oh no you haveto make an effort to squeeze out every last point for every guy, and hits immediately pushes it from fun into work, and by the end of the demo I was completely put off.

If there will be an option to disable all scores then I may consider buying it otherwise I wont even rent.

I played the demo on xbox live and i wasent all the impressed. Its like a GOW but ridiculous. Its the type of game that i would get bored of easily. Its hole thing is killing people/monsters in 'epic' ways but when thats all you can do it becomes montonous.

Bulletstorm will be great. Coming from People Can Fly, Epic and EA, there is little doubt that Bulletstorm will be awesome. The real question is will it sell well? Maybe. New IPs have a bad track record this generation, especially first Person Shooters. And coming out the same day as Killzone 3 will definitely hurt it's chances, at least on the PS3 and Crysis 2 coming a week later. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I know Im buying it, regardless of review scores and sales, after reading the ESRB description of Bulletstorm I can't fucking wait! http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/106594-Bulletstorm-ESRB-Rating-is-Comedy-Gold

Im sre a lot of people will play this game and love it (especially those who like previous epic games). It doesnt really seem to stand out in any way.

It's funny how it made fun of Call of duty with the Duty calls demo, but Bulletstorm in itself isn't all that different.

It should be interesting, but I am a little bummed by the fact that they don't just have a straight up co-op story mode. They went through all the trouble of taking the story segments out and making them co-op for Echo mode... I just don't get why they didn't just make a co-op story.

As for how well it will sell, it's hard to say. I've seen a lot of people hyped about it.

It will be good, but nothing to mind blowing.

Also how it sells is irrelevant to it being good.

I found the demo to be pretty underwhelming. I'm not interested in getting high scores or topping leaderboards, so that selling point's pretty much lost on me. The "Duke Nukem meets Gears of War" presentation and humor aren't really appealing to me either.
