In Space, Your Friends Can Hear You Scream

http://www.interstellarmarines.com/game/bullseye/

Hey guys, there is a trailer on the front page for the release of Bullseye, a preview of the gunplay of the Sci-Fi, Co-op, First person shooter, Interstellar Marines, from independent developer Zero Point Software.

The game is being funded entirely by the community and it is the community feedback that will shape the game, ultimately. So, Zero Poins wants all of your impressions. The link is at the top of these two paragraphs, pick whatever option you think is most suitable.

Here's the latest trailer for it as well: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-bullseye-interstellar-marines/61057

Edit: For the sake of not sounding like blatant advertising, I'll open up a clear path for discussion through a few questions:

-Do you think the game will be great? If not, why?

-Do you think they should just sign on with a publisher or is AAA Indie (published by the community) worth fighting for?

-What do you think of the Indie market in general?

This is advertising, isn't it?

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeported.
Advertising? :S

Just want your feedback for god's sake. You know, because the game is being developed with community feedback? Plus, this is also a really fun release that I thought would be cool to discuss and cool for you to play?

Sorry if it seemed like just blatant advertising.

Thank you, I opened up a path for discussion through some questions. Personally, I'm a Spearhead, so I get all three games and access to betas and other exclusive material, so if you have any questions, shoot.

I've already played bullseye (didn't sign up mind you) its pretty good for a browser demo and its really kind of fun but really it could be pretty much any other game from what this demo has shown, but I am looking forward to shooting shark monsters but you may have more luck on sites such as mapcore.net and I think fpsbanana has a section for this game also (you'd probably know that though)

In summary fun for a browser game but actual gameplay footage would be nice (from the actual game) the gun mechanics seem to handle pretty well, perhaps the snap to sights is a little slow but thats just me

The next release is Movement in March or April and after that, in the summer, is Competitive multiplayer, which will be awesome. The developer has confirmed you can carry two side arms and two main weapons so it should be interesting, especially with the Real-Time Voice Porting technology they've come up with (your voice in the world).

Cooperative multiplayer will come in December.

Will this also be browser based?

I'm unsure if this will be entirely browser based, even the full game. There is opposition to the idea by the community but we all trust ZPS to make the right choice, seeing as Unity is very powerful with web-based games. I would say yes, but don't quote me on that.

You can always make a thread on the forums or message them personally outlining your opinion if you like, but I think it's too soon to tell what will be browser based.

Played that demo a couple of weeks earlier. Idea is not too original, but the gunplay is what really matters. And it was pretty damn fun.

If I wasen't on a laptop with no mouse, it may be funner. I'm not giving points for orginality, but overall not bad.

Yeah, addictive...they're more about expanding the core elements of FPS's (AI, storyline with 4 main characters, not 1 character and 3 sidekicks, co-op, immersion and of course, fun factor and challenge).
