Poll: Button Mashing?

Mostly with thumb, but when mashing keyboard not controller I use other fingers.

I only button mash when I need to hit a button over and over and over very quickly, and I use my thumb for it.

I don't particularly like button mashing (hence my hesitating in getting another copy of Legend of the Dragoon), though when I'm forced to do it I use the thumb and sometimes I mash it so fast my wrist starts to cramp up. A rather painful, unpleasant feeling ><;;

I only ever button mash in QTE. Otherwise I actually try and play the game with some degree of skill.

Only time I buttom mash is when its the only way to get out of a deadlock or grab. I can do fine with my thumb but my pointer can do better sometimes.

Oh, if you've played Gears of War, there's no chance you've missed out on the joys of button mashing.

I originally use the thumb, since it's the most logical option when you chainsaw grubs with X.

Besides, it's the strongest finger I got.

when i need maximum speed, index fingers, usally for some mini game of some kinda, other wise, my thumbs have fell millions

I use my palm as a fulcrum and my thumb as the stop, then I just waggle my hand back and forth in rapid succession and, PRESTO!, insta-button-mash win!

I, too, assume you mean when pressing buttons really fast is necessary, as button-mashing, as in what noobs do in fighting games, is rage inducing.

When doing QTEs what require mashing of one button really fast, I use my index finger
