I use Charter Cable. My boyfriend and I just moved into our apartment about 5 months ago. Since moving in, we've had 8 technicians over (in a span of 3 months) to fix our unstable internet.
The last guy that came over seemed to do the trick, as we haven't had a problem since the end April. Now, my internet is teh sux, again.
Are all cable internet companies this crap? I mean, my cable internet is supposed to be pretty fast (12 mb/s)... It's running anywhere from 5mb/s-9mb/s.... Not what I'm paying for.
I call my mom on Skype and Skype keeps telling me my connection sucks and keeps dropping my calls.
And finally... When gaming, my connection will be awesome, then suddenly drop like I have dial-up... Very annoying in fighting games or in crucial moments in MMO's.
