Poll: Can COD: Black Ops do it

I am really hoping Black Ops is better then Modern Warfare 2 because I know this is blasphemy but I did not like Modern Warfare all that much so I am wondering if you think Black Ops can be better then Modern Warfare 2. and i know there is like nothing we know about Black ops so just do you want it to beat down Modern Warfare.

P.S. I did play a lot of Modern Warfare just could not really get into it

I don't think that Black Ops will be any different from any other Call of Duty game. Even those made by different developers end up resembling each other.

OT: MW2 shouldn't be to hard to beat single playerwise.Dunno about the multi-player. As for COD4 they have some big shoes to fill and they might just do it. I'll believe it when I see/play it. Treyarch is still the lesser of the two COD company's in my mind. WAW's interface was a shameless jack from COD4 and 3 was horrific beyond all imagination. But still this whole Infinity Ward implosion leaves them a golden opportunity. I have my doubts. And my hopes.

Almost every true advancement of the call of duty series has been done with the Infinity Ward crew, and Treyarch has been the recipient of Activision's doling out IW's goods. Treyarch is nothing without Infinity Ward, so I really doubt it.

Well, in terms of gross sales probably not. Personally I may enjoy it a bit more cause of Charlie zombies (or whatever they are calling it)

Of course, this is after logging 26 days into matchtime and getting 10th 70, but meh.

With the cutting of Nukes, commando, possibly akimbo, the extremely over powered shotguns/machine pistols from the secondary slot, possibly akimbo, and adding more vechiles then just tanks and dedicated servers, I don't see how it can be WORSE then MW2.

The only way Black Ops can do it is if its got a great story. Modern Warfare had a good story and MW2's was decent.

I do not think that the Nukes are THAT bad but maybe if they put it up on the kill streak to get it that would be a lot better

And I really don't think they should have vehicles, but I agree they should scrap all those things, and tubes too.

Someone needs to go play CoD: The Big Red One. Treyarch blasted that one out of the park. Probably the best CoD game in terms of story and gameplay after CoD 4

im doubtful but i will def. look into it when it comes out, ill probably play it at a friends or something to try it out, as long as its single player is good OR involves ACTUAL REAL co op and the multiplayer is actually balanced with good maps, then ill consider getting it
