I've lived in California all my life and we just recently had an earthquake, again.

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.181268-So-we-just-had-an-earthquake#5348927

Now before this seismic event, i had made a trip to the local 7-11 on the back i noticed that it was Earthquake weather and my 1st thought was that there would be an earthquake that very same night. Why is this? Has anyone else experienced a sense that your area was about to expierence a natural event(I.E: tonado earhquake wildfire Zombie apocalypes) Is this simply our animal instincts or are we psychic?

I prefer to think that because i live next to the fault im attuned to it, and it was actual my instinct warning me. Did i heed the warning? no. I chocked it up to wild imaginings.

On a side note, are me and mine the only Californians who talk about "Earthquake" weather? Does anyone else know what im talking about?

I'd say "yes", but that would be cheating---I ALWAYS think something awful is about to happen, so when it does I tend to be right. Then again, I'm more alarmed by those moments when I DON'T think something's about to go horribly wrong because those tend to be the moments where everything goes to hell in a handbasket.

Before the 2003 Canberra bushfires (it was pitch black by 3PM, and the electricity was out) I could tell from the light smog that it was going to be a shitstorm. Then the sky turned blood red and it started raining fire. Hmm.

Earthquake weather? I wasn't aware the two were connected :|?

Nah I don't see many bad things coming, but I do manage to predict a lot of what people are thinking.

Not Really. I have pretty good "boss senses" on games though.
I can often tell when I'm gonna have to fight a boss. Not just the obvious ones like when you run into a big empty arena.
I could tell some scary sugar was gonna go down in that area with the Reapers on Resident Evil 5. Didn't know it was gonna be that scary though...

But my natural event forecasting is limited to "It's not cloudy. It probably won't rain".

Same here man. It was worse back when I was still a student. If I felt terrible after a test and was constantly thinking about answers that were/may have been wrong, I did well. If I felt confident and happy and proud of my accomplishments after a test, I didn't do all that well.

On three separate occasions I've been having an absolutely incredible day at work or school...and come home to have a girl with whom I was in a long-term relationship (including a marriage!) tell me "we need to talk...it's over." Plus, any time I've written anything, college paper, item for intended publication, whatever, if I've thought it was good, it gets a poor grade or a rejection from an editor. If I think it sucks? Someone's guaranteed to tell me it's brilliant in a tone of voice usually reserved for Guinness commercials.

Well, I pretty consistently come up with all manner of terrifying apocalypse scenarios in my head, so if something bad does happen, I pretty much predicted it in some (greatly exaggerated) form or another. That probably doesn't count though.

I dont thinks it connected but its just the vibe you get, plus our quakes always sem to happen on warm nights with clear skys.
