Cellphone?
Pff, it's more awesome to look at the huge clock they have set up in the station then to pull out the cell. I only use that if there are no other clocks within vicinity! Old fashioned style, man!

Yup, I can read analog clocks. Though I never say quarter-to or half past. I say it as Seven Forty Five. etc

I can do it, though I learned at a really late age ( Like 10 I think?)

I prefer Digital, since Analog can be a pain in the ass to read sometimes.

I prefer digital faces for their accuracy, but sure I can read analouge. It does take me slightly longer though, maybe a second to read an analouge clock compared to effectivly instantly reading a digital one. I've met peopel before who never bothered to learn how to read an analouge clock because they 'always have their phone on them' with its digital time, but then one day they would leave their phone at home or it ran out of batteries or it was stolen or got confiscated by a teacher and they were utterly lost.

I know some people have real trouble reading analouge faces, but I can't understand those people who utterly refuse to learn to the point where they can't read it in emergancies. It's one of those easy but important life skills like preparing a simple meal or reading a map; you don't have to excel at them to live well but one day you will need to do it.

I have one with roman numbers. Yeah. Beat that.
And yes, I can read it. And I find it stupid that anyone wouldn't be able to read one.

I much prefer non-digital clocks.
I can't believe, at 20, people would not be able to use one just as efficiently as a digital alternative.

I know a few people who have trouble reading analogue clocks. And I keep forgetting this. I'll often tell them the time off my old pocket-watch, and they'll ask me to "translate" it!

I used to have trouble with digital clocks, myself.

I wear my watch all the time, and have it almost always at the time on time.is [http://www.time.is] down to the second (or as close as I can get).

I didn't even know that there were people who couldn't read the time off of an analog clock. I also didn't know there were still people who wore digital watches - didn't those go out of fashion in the late nineties?

I wear an analogue watch (16 mins ahead) that only has 5min/1hr increments on it... so, yeah, I guess.

My alarm clock's digital though (11 mins ahead), as is my phone (7 mins ahead).

I don't think I have a single timepiece in my possession (computers notwithstanding) that can tell me the correct time.
I have all my clocks set correctly, but my alarm clock, that one is 15 minutes ahead, so when I wake up in the morning, I think I'm in such a rush. I'm not very bright in the mornings -.-

I prefer analogue. It's not very hard to read time y'know... maybe it comes naturally because I always had an analogue clock during my childhood. I remember having no trouble when I was in preschool... yet they had to teach it in school over and over again...

I can. In fact, I prefer to use analog. I only wear analog watches, and I refuse to use digital unless it is the only available working watch.

The rest of my family have trouble reading analog though. They can still read it, but it can take them a few seconds. They prefer to use the digital clock on their cellphones.

Wait... isn't it taught at school?

Hell, I teach it to kids, and I'm just a language teacher.

And by "regular" clocks, I'm talking the ones with the hands and the round faces, like Big Ben.
I'm sorry but my little "OCD and pedantic" senses are going wild, but Big Ben is actually the name of the bell inside the clock, not the clock itself.

On topic though, yes, I can read all clocks, and for a while in our spare room, my dad had a ball bearing clock

I'm able to.

I did remember that I had a LOT of difficulty doing so when I was like 8, but I learned how.

I prefer digital greatly, but I can still tell the time on analog. I've never met someone who can't personally.
One of my exes could not read an analog clock. She had a severe learning disability and she could no do a lot of things that involved, well, anything.

Not that I'm bitter.
