Well, my girlfriend claims that she wears thongs because they're genuinely more comfortable to her. Not sure if she was bullshitting me, but maybe having the wedgie from hell is just a personal preference.

And in all previous incarnations, cat-woman wore either leather (terrible idea, Mr. Burton) or what looked in the comics and animated series to be spandex of various shades and designs. And why are we so confused? I may be one of the rare nerds to actually see a girl undress in person, but yeah stretchy fabrics tend to outline the buttcheeks.

That doesn't look like spandex - that looks like the same material that Batman's armor is made from. Or possibly rubber fetish wear. It doesn't LOOK particularly flexible - and it does look fairly sturdy. That webbing between the sections gives it a sense of thickness.

So yeah, not entirely sure what they were going for. Also not sure why Catwoman isn't just wearing Spandex. **shrug**

If anything, that is a combination of mesh and some type of fabric. The texture is that of cloth. So still, it's no body armor. The Unreal engine has a habit of making ANYTHING look like it was molded from some kind of plastic, so this is probably the most lace-like thing I've seen from the engine.

I'm not sure you lot have done your research properly. I'm going to go and spend thirty minutes looking at pictures of women's butts in pants made of form-fitting latex, rubber and leather. Once I am done I will report my findings back to all of you.
