So, I need to figure out which RPG I am going to replay. My choices are : Neverwinter Nights 2, Mass Effect 2, and Dragon Age : Origins. I have all DLC/Expansions for the given games and have played each one several times. Character will be determined when I choose the game but you can give suggestions if you wish. All are on PC. Feel free to post reasons and/or alternatives as well.

Go trough the NWN2 expansion Mask Of The Betrayer. Out of those, I think it the best option.

And try it is a Necromancer-specialist Red Wizard Of Thay. I think you'll find yourself challenged :)

Thats actually the class/setup I usually run with. I'll probably go with something different this time around because of that.

How? I've never managed to complete a walktrough with a nec-specialist. Too many creatures have way too high saves to be affected by any of the major necromancer spells, which usually just ends up my character getting pwned and casting more evocation spells that necromantic ones.

I can't believe ME2 is winning.

I don't know about others but I feel like ME2 doesn't offer much on "replays", once you get the story down and played it with all the DLC's the game offers very little. Best thing you can do is to go down the evil path in case you where paragon the first time.

Voted for DA:O since I feel the origin story's offer a lot more, but upon reading SakSak post I think he's right. NWN2 is an old game and there might be stuff that you have forgotten about the game, like the story or character customizations .. so replaying NWN2 can be the most rewarding of all 3 games.

I say go with Dragon Age. There's a lot of story's to choose from and with each one comes the opportunity to be the descendant of ultimate goodness or the most evil ************ in Ferelden. Either path is funny to watch.

I concur with this--having just played through DA:O for the sixth (seventh?) consecutive time, I'm about to go back to playing NWN2 myself. The joy for me is forgetting about some aspects of the game, to go back to it later and remember why I loved it to begin with :)

You have to basically make a perfect build. If you do it perfectly you can beat saves 70% of the time. The other thing is you need to use most of your slots for Finger of Death and Wail of the Banshee (I think those are the names). Any tiers that don't have those two spells (and undeath to death of course) you put into evocation or controlling spells. If you get to stuff that you just can't seem to insta-kill you use the control spells and let the rest of your group take them out. It is certainly harder then a melee build, but doable.

Ahh, perhaps I ought to reinstall it then, and try that out. Thanks for the tip.
