SO I need help choosing my classes for this coming semester "college freshman, gonna be...interesting...ya"

Any-hoo, I'm registered as a economics/ business major, but that's sort of a blanket term for now. "Not really sure what I want to do. A business major seems like something solid." I'm stuck between two schedule types. One where I take Economics, and one where I take a computer class "software/hardware-ish thing", which I need for a business major anyway, but could probably be more versatile in the future. Thing is I'm worried about taking to many B/S classes. My other two would be a required core class, and a film class which will take care of my "art" requirement. This computer thing would be my only other class and I don't know if it's going to be very full-filling.

Ya'll seem to be an educated bunch, inspire me with your insights.

I'd choose computers because it can help you in so many careers nowadays, and even just at home.

you're on a (relativley) obsure gaming forum site, you won't have too many people pick economics there, Bud.

On topic, Computer soft/hardware can help you out in a bunch of ways in several different jobs.

I'd take the computers, if you don't know what you want to take its best to spread out to as many options.

Take Economics. Fascinating subject, really, and the software market is going to be absolutely saturated beyond belief within six years. Colleges are going to be pumping out thousands of programmers and none of them will get jobs. Go economics.

well the wild card here is that I can only take micro economics , not macro, and I don't know how that's gonna play out. Also the computer class is more about familiarization, not so much programming.

and to the man who thinks I'm selfish for going to college. Your heart is in the right place but considered how hard it is to get a job WITH a degree, I really don't take any shame in trying to ensure a financially stable future.
