Poll: Civilization - Which do you prefer?

I'v played it since I'v been a child, and I'v loved it. I own every single installment of it and for me, it's one of the best game-franchises there is. So, which of the games do you prefer?
And please add a motivation for why you are picking what you are picking.

I personally go with Civ III, but probably because it's the game I'v played the longest.

And oh, please be civil (pun intended), no need to start a flame-war over the differences between Civ 4 and Civ 5, though if you want to discuss it, I'd love to hear your opinions.

Revolution is a good game for me, as it's the first where the series really clicked for me and I went, "Oh, that's what I'm meant to be doing!" before that I had Civ 4 and I just kinda made whatever I was advised to. I favourited Civ 5 mainly because its the one I played most post-click.
