Who here uses the Club Nintendo reward program? Just seeing how many in this community DO use it...

I used to back before they changed the system. Stars earned from buying games didn't used to run out, so back then I could actually gain enough of them to buy something. I also used to buy nintendo games far more. Infact I got a Nintendo VIP DS from the system, which meant you got the console 1 month early. Also got a copy of Metroid Prime from it too. Shame those days are long gone. Stars now run out after a year, and I don't buy enough nintendo games in a year to get enough points to buy anything. Infact I don't think I've even bought any games published by nintendo this year, other than Pokemon Soul Silver.

I remember being majorily pissed off when they changed the system. I had around 4000 stars saved up ready to get something, but they all ran out without warning.

I use it. I've collected a few things over the past few years, and I rather like it.

I managed to use a load to get 1000 Wii points, other than that I haven't used it since as I'm buying less Nintendo games than I did...

It's a reward program (club.nintendo.com). You register games/systems on it, and get club nintendo coins (Or stars for europeans). You can use it to buy things like game cases, game & watch compilations, etc. It's pretty neat imo.

I think it goes 30 coins per DS game, 50 per wii game. Plus the post-play survey. You also get post-play surveys for DSiware & Virtual Console & Wiiware games.

...God, it sounds like I work for Nintendo.
