Poll: Cockiness & The Zombie Apocalypse

I've always been a fan of zombie movies/games, and I'd like to believe that I know a fair bit about the subject. This thread isn't about cocky characters in zombie movies, but about the cockiness and posturing I've noticed in real-life discussions of possible zombie apocalypses. A lot of the people in these discussions seem to considers themselves incredibly powerful, to the point of claiming that they could headshot a group of 28 Days Later-style "rage zombies" with ease (Which, by the way, is nigh-impossible: Even trained military and police marksmen have trouble getting headshots in certain situations, and they're using high-powered military-grade sniper rifles). Have any of you ever encountered this sort of behaviour?

To be honest though, it's a completely fictional scenario, therefore it's just natural you're going to get exagerrated replies.

I joke around whenever I talk about things like that. I say stuff like "I could chop off 20 zombie's heads in one swing with a shovel".

But if that were to really happen, I wouldn't really be going against the zombies. I'd play it safe until I had to go out and search for food/supplies.

But for the Non rage zombies that would be comepletely useless.

I have read the Zombie Survival Guide. I have a larger percentage of survival compared to those of you that haven't. That's all I can say.

Also, Rage-Zombies are a lie. They do not exist, it says so in "the guide"...

PS. My advice to all in case of a Zombie-emergency: Run. Like. Hell.

I highly enjoy watching people with cocky attitudes when it comes to things zombie related. We all know that each and every one of the cocky people who underestimated a zombie ALWAYS get killed either by a zombie, or by the survivors themselves.

Most kids go on about fortifying a building and getting a bunch of guns, because they read it in a book. If an incident like that did occur most would cower in their basements praying a shit storm doesn't hit them.
