my doubletap m249 doesn't care that you are hopping around, there is plenty of lead going everywhere!

There is no bunnyhoping in CoD, you are just jumping around for no purpose.

Seriously who the hell cares. Why the fuck do people take every god damn detail in FPS's so seriously. Just play the game or stfu. if you die you die, if someone gets away from you they live, big deal, nobody cares about your prestige or your kill ratio, IT"S A GAME.

Forget CoD - bunnyhopping zombies on CS:S is a total ***** (and really fucking scary when they get close and you can't hit the buggers).

Still, I've tried it and I'm useless at it so I use other tactics. Its not breaking the game, they're just finding the play style that works best for them.

Its like people who camp: its a perfectly acceptable tactic.

Hey I don't like it when other people use it, but I enjoy it when I do. lol at Hypocrisy. In CoD at least your aim is forfeited when you run and jump like that (running puts your gun to the side, so your lucky if you get to shoot first). With more skill comes more expection of this, so it becomes a normality. In CoD I find myself shooting someone, then moving downwards while shooting incase they try to prone.

Also it's fun being a sniper and watching as this guy on the other side of the map bops his head up high enough above cover in a pattern. Don't make every shot, but the ones I do are awesome.

I see dicks doing that lame jumping thing all the time but nothing ever is done on the consoles. I would love to see people start to get kicked.

OP: It kind of detracts from the whole 'Realistic military shooter' thing. So no, I don't like it.
Did you just connect COD to "Realistic military shooter"?

OT:I've never seen anyone do.So i am indifferent.

I don't bunny hop but in call of duty what i do do is if i am sprinting and run into someone i jump and turn. For one it breaks your sprint, and it also makes it harder to be hit. But i don't run around jumping all the time. That's just stupid.

I just drop whenever some bullet flies my way. It usually works.

As for jumping, no, I don't really have a problem.-

For. I'm not a CoD expert, but I've played plenty of other online shooters to have a strong opinion about this.

In a metagame way it makes sense to do. Sure it's not realistic, but then most shooters aren't realistic to begin with. And that's not even the point. The point is it's in the game, it's not cheating, and if you think it helps your play then you'd be stupid not to use it. If the devs thought bunnyhopping shouldn't be done they'd have put some kind of mechanism in place to prevent it.

If you don't want to jump because it's so much more unrealistic than respawning that it ruins your game, go ahead. But pushing your beliefs on others who do know how to make the most of their game is petty and stupid. It's like those Street Fighter players who tell you using projectile attacks is unfair. No it fucking isn't. You're just a lousy player who can't deal with that part of the game. And bunnyhopping is (usually) far less important to shooter gameplay than projectile attacks are to fighting games, so there's even less reason to whine about it.

All I have to say is: Learn to play the game.

I do it all the time. It's a good way to throw off the opponents aim and move across the map quickly when your sprint runs out. Plus it means you're actually doing something unlike the people who camp all the time.
