Poll: Cod 5 Multiplayer

Is it just me or does the shrinking multiplayer splitscreens seem unnecessary. I don't have a massive TV but is fine for everything else. In Cod5 it seems unnecessary to shrink the screens and commonly results in me missing the one guy in a corner.

It does seem over the top for them to use a small space for the screen and then have large blank or slightly red spaces around all the screens
