THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A DUPLICATE OF THE OTHER POLLS. The only other polls that I have seen don't specify that they are reffering to an MMOFPS version of the game. I want a count of the people who would pay a subscription for such a game.

I personally think it would be a terrible idea. Huge problems would occour, included; griefing of any not currently engaged in combat, or obviously not on the same skill level, would be high; entire tides of battle could be changed by people logging; conversly just logging on without getting killed within 2 seconds could be hard; exploration, one of the big selling points of MMOs, would just be asking to getting your ass shot off; and also what's the point in playing an MMO where you don't evolve in some way, I know Call of Duty has perks and attachments, but that just isn't enough to keep your average person coming back.

No thank you, if I want to play Call of Duty, I'll do it without the huge ammounts griefing and subscription.

Dear sir, I would like to say my Topic was the first one, someone else followed and seems you are doing this as well. Is this a deliberate attempt or are you not using the search button. The first page alone contains two of the same topics.
I'm so glad I found your page first.

Do we need another one of these threads?
Yes, the others I could find didn't specify for an MMOFPS version of the game. Which is a completely different proposition.

Your topic is different for mine. If you read my post, you would have noticed that I had seen the other polls, including yours, but produced this as the others weren't asking about an MMOFPS. In fact, yours specificaly refers to a subscription service for mw2, and/or black ops. I don't think thats what the CEO meant, at all. Unfortunately he used the word 'tommorow' for impact, but I doubt it was literal. At any rate, our polls are entirely different, as I acknowledged in my initial post. Please read the thread fully, before making a comment.

Isn't CoD already a MMOFPS?

It's a FPS you play online with a lot of people...

Do you mean MMORPFPS?

No. I mean MMOFPS. It's not already an MMOFPS. Go and read any material at all, on MMOFPS's.

Yeah, I've always thought that would be a massive problem with MMOFPS's. But apparently some exist, and are okay. Doubt they'll ever reach MMORPG popularity, though.
