I need some help. I want to buy a new game but I am not sure if I want Call Of Duty or Killzone 2. Some of my friends say Call of Duty while others say Killzone 2.What do you think I should get?

Both are terrible in my view, but it depends on what you like not others.

If you like WW2 shooters, go with COD:WaW

Sci-fi then Killzone 2

How about you buy Call of Duty 4? Its probably cheaper than World at War, and WAW took a few segments from it.

Go with Killzone, better multiplayer. The single player? Flip a coin. I think WaW has co-op though, which is a plus.

Well, considering you have friends that own CoD:WaW. I would say, pick it up, and start some co-op sessions with your buddies, not to mention, that you have a superb MP experience that you can enjoy with your comrades.

Killzone 2, while being a decent game (although I haven't played it yet, it's pretty obvious the game is on par with CoD), the sci-fi settings is much more interesting than the overdone WW2 game.

But someone did say "bros before hoes", so go with CoD:WaW.

Single player, they are both good. Multiplayer, KZ2 wins hands-down. No other shooter I've played has as inventive game modes nor rewards teamwork as much.

KZ2 control takes some getting used to, tho.

Well I haven't played Killzone 2 yet, but I want it. And CoD:WaW was terrible, so naturally I voted for Killzone 2. Mainly because even if Killzone is bad, there are very few games that are worse then CoD:WaW in my pinion.

I would say Killzone 2
Although I haven't played WaW and there is no way I am ever going to buy it, mainly because I wouldn't be able to play it online on my internet.

Killzone 2 at least supports bots that provide some replay value, and its not one of the many WW2 games.

Or just get COD4 if you don't have it.

Oh, I didn't know we were being childish dickholes today.
Give me a minute to dust off some old PS3 jokes and I'll be right with you.
Play COD:WAW on veteran and tell me they don't constantly spam grenades at you.

forgettable missions
I disagree with the forgettable missions, the sniper mission as well as the last Russian mission were all intense for me.

Though I guess I don't know my history that well ;)

I'm fully aware that the CPU on COD4/WAW is quite cheap, even on the lowest difficulty.
But I'll be damned if I'm going to sit idly by while you shovel horseshit on my face in praise of a polished turd.
I guess someone didn't like KZ2 then. Anyway I didn't say KZ2 was awesome I just said COD:WAW was a pile of wank. I've only played the demo so I can't possibly comment on KZ2.

Don't get the WaW hate here...

I've not had a chance to play Killzone 2. I have however had a chance to play through a lot of World at War on the PS3, and I just recently got it for my PC, and I was satisfied. Not anything to cause an epiphany, but the multiplayer is great and the campaign, while taking a lot of mechanics from Modern Warfare, and even copy-pastes a few of the missions in some parts, is good enough to keep my personal interest in the game.

So, from my biased standpoint, I would suggest World at War, simply because it's the only one I've played.

Why? multiformat games are one of the worst things to happen to gaming.
I'd rather see a lot more multiformat games. It's nice to know some developers don't favour a single console fanbase.

Of course, I wouldn't want to see too many PC only games becoming console games... But between consoles, especially between PS3 and 360, there should be more crossover.
